Below is everything you need to know about paying your taxes in Amber Township.

When to pay your taxes

Amber Township sends tax statements out to its residents twice each year; July 1 and December 1.  Please refer to your tax bill for further information, including the due date. (February 14 and September 14)

If you pay your taxes by the due date:

  • Paying the amount you owe in full, you will not have to pay interest or penalties (extra fees).
  • Remember that the postmark date (if you mail in your taxes) DOES NOT count as your payment date. To avoid having to pay interest and penalties, we must receive your payment by the due date.

If you pay your taxes after the due date:

  • Contact the Amber Township Deputy Clerk to find out how much you owe. You may have to pay added interest and/or penalties.
